Welcome to the new Backwoods Waterside Bar & Grill, located on Chain Lake in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin. Some might say we're in the middle of nowhere—and that's exactly the way we like it. You could also say we're somewhere between New Auburn, Chetek, Weyerhaeuser, and Bruce... a.k.a. THE BACKWOODS!

If you're traveling north on Plummer Road, please watch for deer. Side-by-side traffic is also pretty common—and pretty impressive, if you ask us—so keep an eye out for those road warriors as you navigate these winding roads.

Our goal is to provide a full dining experience. Please be patient as we grow—we just opened our doors on May 15! Give us a little time, and watch this business grow.
